Jessie Ware on the 'hyper-surreal' high of her first arena tour

Jessie Ware is set to embark on her inaugural UK arena tour at the end of 2026, a significant milestone she describes as "hyper-surreal, majestic and mad." The tour will include performances at prominent venues such as London's O2, The Hydro in Glasgow, and Manchester's Co-op Live. This announcement comes as she prepares to release her sixth studio record, "Superbloom," which features the recent single "Ride" and its accompanying music video.
Ware, whose debut album "Devotion" was released 14 years ago, reflected on her career journey, highlighting the time and effort required to cultivate a dedicated fan base. She expressed excitement about her audience continuing to grow with each new record, anticipating a lively atmosphere at her shows filled with choreography, effervescence, and glitz. Ware aims to bring this same intimacy and energy to the larger arena settings, drawing inspiration from artists like Lady Gaga.
Her new album, "Superbloom," showcases an evolving musical style, with the lead single "I Could Get Used To This" featuring flourishing panpipes and funky guitar riffs. The follow-up track, "Ride," presents a darker disco sound, incorporating cracking whips and a sample of the iconic whistle from the classic Western film "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly." Ware successfully obtained permission from composer Ennio Morricone's estate to include the sample.
