Joshua v Fury Fight Not Slated for Dublin, Promoter States

Eddie Hearn, promoter for Anthony Joshua and Katie Taylor, has clarified that a highly anticipated heavyweight bout between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will not be held at Dublin's Croke Park. Hearn's comments come after suggestions that Fury might share a fight card with Irish boxing legend Katie Taylor at the 82,000-capacity stadium.
Instead, Hearn confirmed he will be in Dublin to advance talks specifically for Katie Taylor's potential farewell fight at Croke Park. He stressed that Taylor, a two-weight undisputed champion, deserves to be the sole star attraction for any major event at the venue. Taylor, 39, has expressed a strong desire to have one final fight in her home country before retiring, following her trilogy victory over Amanda Serrano last summer.
