Manhunt after attempted arson attack on synagogue

Authorities in north London are actively searching for two individuals suspected of an attempted arson attack on the Finchley Reform Synagogue. The incident occurred around 01:00 BST when suspects, wearing balaclavas, reportedly threw a brick and two bottles, believed to contain petrol, at the building. Fortunately, no damage was caused, and no injuries were reported during the incident. Police are investigating the attempted attack as an antisemitic hate crime. This incident follows a previous arson attack last month where four ambulances belonging to a Jewish community charity were set alight. Counter-terrorism police are involved in both investigations. Law enforcement officials have expressed significant concern regarding these incidents and are working with community leaders while urging anyone with CCTV, dash cam footage, or information to contact them.
