Russian Attacks Leave Three Dead in Ukraine

Russian forces launched extensive drone and missile strikes targeting multiple Ukrainian cities. In Kyiv, the capital, a 12-year-old boy and a 35-year-old woman died, and rescuers pulled a mother and child from the ruins of a collapsed 16-story residential building in the Podilsky district. Four emergency medical workers were among the injured in the northern part of the capital due to repeated shelling.The attacks also impacted the central city of Dnipro, where one person was killed and at least 10 others were injured, with online images showing buildings ablaze. Further strikes injured a 77-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man in Kharkiv, and five people were wounded in the southern port city of Odesa. These strikes followed a brief ceasefire for Orthodox Easter, which both sides accused each other of violating.Separately, two children, aged five and 14, were killed in a Ukrainian drone attack in Russia's southern Krasnodar Krai region. The conflict in Ukraine is now in its fifth year, with ongoing stalled peace talks.
